Fossi Dinner

 Derek’s mom hosted an amazing dinner for everybody the evening before the wedding at Maria’s. It was delicious and beautiful and the best way to mingle with all the guests. Torin and Derek were gorgeous! Every detail of this wedding weekend was perfect including the welcome bags and the Bingo.

Santa Fe

 We had the most magical trip to New Mexico for Torin and Derek’s wedding. We went to Meow Wolf, Taos, hot springs off the Rio Grande, Georgia O’Keefe museum, ate so much good food and spent time with our amazing friends. It was everything I hoped and more.

Rory roadtrip

 When Rory told me he was coming home this summer I forced him to road trip back with me and I think he was not mad about it. I flew to Missoula and we went out on the town before waking up early for the drive back to Minneapolis. Our first day we drove to Deadwood and found out it was Sturgis. To be fair I found the Sturgis to be disappointing and not very rowdy. We went out in Deadwood and did not see any ghosts.

The next day we drove to Wall Drug for yucky coffee and The Badlands, which were spectacular and rattle snake free. Rory’s favorite part was taking a photo on the Wall Drug jackalope.

I then got to spend a whole week with Rory and it was epic and I didn’t get sick of him at all. We celebrated the beginning of his grad school journey and saw music and sang karaoke and generally low key partied all week and it ruled. Now my heart is broken because I miss Rory.
