Lomo!

My first adventure in lomography was a hit. A third roll in on the way but until then enjoy a few of my favorites as well as a taste of my honeymoon to Europe.

Cooking Club 2.

Cooking club was a wild success last night. In attendance was myself, Josh Bachman, Nicholas and Jill Livingston, Sayer Payne and Althea Kure. We collaborated to make spring rolls, a plum dipping sauce which became a plum curry sauce, salsa and ginger lemon scones (see photo of my portion of the spoils). An inordinate amount of delicious snacks were consumed as well as a range of high end beers, G&Ts and our favorite Swiss wine Petite Arvine (sigh). We are now accepting input for possible menu option for next month's club and will admit almost anybody who wants to participate. I'm thinking pretzels and something that includes coconuts...

I think I'd like a blog.

Today is July 22. The 22 is very important to me because I was married on the 22 and I am going to start a blog on the 22. I just wanted a place to put pictures and memories that make me happy. This will be that place.

Today I was thinking about all the things I want. I want a lot of things. For this first blog, though, I wanted to think of some things I'm very excited about already having. Here is a short list of things I'm happy to have today:

a husband
Huxley
my Mini Diana camera

the Local Natives album Gorilla Manor
this penguin I paper mached
these things from the farmers market
a Honda Fit
a job (and this lemonade stand Norah and I built)
a blog.
