Bowie is 7 so we went to Chicago

Bowie turned 7. We hosted a Minecraft backyard party for him with all his silly neighborhood dude friends. He also celebrated with both sets of my parents and had his fair share of sugar.

For Bowie’s 7th birthday we took him to Chicago for a long weekend. We stayed in a beautiful Airbnb near the Lincoln Park Zoo. We visited the Shedd Aquarium, Millennium Park and rode the train. We were able to visit Marc and Janice and see their beautiful new home. Janice generously got into the Field Museum and showed us where she works and what she builds there (spoiler check out the amazing dinosaur bone she recreated). Bowies favorite parts included buying Pokémon cards from a comic book store and riding in an Uber.

Washington DC with Torin

I’ve never been to Washington DC and up until now I’ve never had any interest. I did, however, have an interest in visiting Torin. I’m really glad I went. It was very magical to see our nations capital in person and even better to get some time with one of my favorite people on the planet. Torin made sure we did all the best things. We walked so much my feet almost fell off and laughed so hard I think I broke my stomach. We also ate great food and spent time just lounging and doing nothing. Here are some photos I took. Many are from an interactive art exhibit we attended. Many are of my muse, Torin. The rest are of Washington DC things. I’m looking forward to returning and bringing Bowie along next time. I’m also hoping I get to see Torin soon for more adventures xoxo.

Last roll of lomos: Madonna Inn & other good stuff

These are the last of my lomos from California plus a few of a very good dog play date with my favorite friend Evan. The lomo film has been great and I’m very happy with how compatible it’s been with my camera. Moving forward I’m trying some new film for my next few rolls called cinestill. I am looking forward to seeing how that turns out. Until then let’s look at some happy memories:
