New York City

I can't believe it's been over two months since I was in New York with my favorite people Evan & Ellie. I have been dreaming every day of returning. Evan & Ellie were of course the best hosts ever and they have an adorable apartment in Bushwick with the two best dogs and kitty ever. It was an excellent blend of adventuring across the city and staying in and hanging out. These two definitely spoiled me and I'm hungry all the time now for Sally Roots. Here are pictures that do no justice to the amount of fun we had.
I arrived!

We took a self-guided graffiti tour of Brooklyn.

Evan made sure to have all the necessary supplies in place.

We visited the September 11 memorial and the Oculus, which was sobering and super cool.
We waited in line for a cronut. They were sold out so we got this cookie shot glass that leaked milk. Note to self that anything that draws a line of tourists is probably something I want nothing to do with.

My favorite adventure was K-Town and Korean BBQ. I want to go back and eat all the food and buy all the phone cases.

She looks sweet until you see her lip tattoo...

We rang in Easter with Floyd and Pepper and Easter baskets ala Ellie.

Brooklyn bagels and ice cream and hipster balloons.

These two really showed me how to eat and drink your guts out on the finest provisions New York has to offer.

We got hot dogs and explored Central Park. The hot dogs (spoiler alert) aren't great.

We rounded out the trip at City Well, which is an adorable spa where we got to sauna, hot tub, steam, rain shower, mud mask, eat oranges in Brooklyn. I highly recommend paying for this experience.
