Family Photos 2015

We knew we wanted to do family photos around Bowie's first birthday but I wasn't feeling inspired about what to take photo of. Luckily, my amazing and talented friend Toni offered to come to our home and take some very casual photos of us just doing what we do. I love these photos because not only are they beautiful but they are also a perfect snapshot of our life at this time. Here are a few of my favorites. Thank you Toni!

Bowie Bachman: 11 Months

 

At 11 months...

MILESTONES: Mothers Day, 5 teeth, using a walker and pulling self to stand and walk with assistance, first trip to Iowa, mom is home for the summer!
LIKES: Swimming, drinking from straws, swinging in the yard, cars and saying "vroom", shutting doors and drawers.
DISLIKES: Vegetables, wearing a bike helmet, the word "no", bedtime.

Bowie Bachman: 10 Months

At 10 months...

MILESTONES: Mom and Dad's birthdays, first May Day, first ear infection, 2nd top tooth, talking with his hands, sleeping through the night, kisses mom when asked to, eating more solids, staying up until 7pm at night
LIKES: Duck calls, being outside in the summer weather, driving toy cars (and saying vroom), the remote control, teething on the toilet (weird and I promise we don't encourage this behavior!), hummus, cuddling
DISLIKES: Snot suckers, being away from mom, peas

Bowie Bachman: 9 Months

At 9 months...

MILESTONES: Crawling, pulling himself up to standing on furniture, first Easter, 1 top tooth, chewing small bits of solid foods (like pancakes, scrambled eggs, cheerios, sweet potatoes and tofu), saying "dada" and "mama". 
LIKES: The bathtub drain, eating leaves and sticks, everything reading, being outside on stroller rides and for meal times, jumping in jumper, story time, touch and feel books, electronic book and radio toys, his blankie.
DISLIKES: Teething, bumping his head, not being able to catch the cats.
